isnt the reason for the worship of god actually to makeus happy? to make us feel safe.....why does one need parents for....to be cared by, to be looked after by, to be papmered by. the same reason for the existence of god. man cannot enitrely rely on himself or others of his kind to decide whats right and whats not. the eternal questions that try to find the reason of our existence can not be entirely answered by the mortal species themselves. and hence we need an entity who we can rely upon. who is more powerfull and is not one of us. and hence we worship the god. we invent an entity who we now beleive has a hand in the making of us. and has enough powers to save us from any dangers that may come. and we worship him for making ourselves happy.

the reason for rememebering god has two purposes. to revive the faith and to share the feeling of being taken care of. the sense of safety. but it also accomplishes a hidden purpose, of making people feel happy about life. to make them fel happy about everything and nothing. and it succeeds. atleast it did with me.

check out a baby who has recently learned to bow in front of the almighty. gauge the expressions on his face, they are of happiness. the happiness is not due to the sense of being able tothank the god, but its just about acheiving a new task. a task that can be nothing more or less t pronouncing a forbidden word over and over again and catch all the exciting reactions of the elders. its all about that reward, the reactions from his elders. and for th elders its the satisfaction of teaching him something that their parents have tought them. something that the kid needs to learn.
